To succeed with Drop Shipping you need to have a solid understanding of actually designed to succeed with Drop Shipping. You need to have at least a decent level of graphic design skills. Once again, like I said before there are so many tools out there that can help you do this and shortcut the process but you still need to have a base level of understanding. So today we're gonna use canva and we're gonna build a logo together, but I want you to understand and it goes back to the first conversation. We had in module one. You can follow my template and you can follow my guide but the thing that's really gonna make you successful in dropshipping is sharpening your blade and becoming better at these skills. So just because we do this logo together and we set it up I still want you to be proactive and start learning about the process of design and how to make things look better and what goes into making a nice looking website just so that you can build up that skill because remember the people that win and the people that make the most money either the ones that build the skills and are the best at what they do. So that's what I wanted to emphas. Before we got started now the tool that we're going to use is canva you might have heard it because I mentioned it a bunch of times before and they have a million templates for you. If you want to get a logo designed templates from every Niche every industry everything that you could imagine. The truth of the matter is the best logos and the simplest logos are as simple as it could be so I like Logos like this where it's just a nice clean text and there's a icon next to it. That's gonna be the modern format that works for most stores. I also like this font. I think it's really clean. We might actually use this one. But really what I'm looking for right now is a nice base and then from the base we can add an icon and we're pretty much Off to the Races from there. I do like this logo as well. So these are gonna be the three that I try unless I'm seeing something better. Listen, I'm seeing something different. We don't need to worry about having crazy colors either on a logo. We want to have simple colors that reflect our brand properly. We don't need to have some crazy green and orange and super bright. We want to have something that's clean and simple. So I'll work with these three that I picked this one is nice, but it's almost like two blocky for traveling. This one might be my favorite option. This one looks good, too. So let's let's start with this what we're gonna go ahead and cut this one out of the three. And we're gonna design two different examples for Logos. So the basic rule of thumb for a logo. Is that we want to have nice text that says our name and then we want to have an icon. So in this case. We can try all caps. I like it actually in a lowercase font. I think it looks nice. We're gonna go ahead and put that in the center. And now let's go ahead and try to find an icon for our logo. So we're gonna go to elements and you know for traveling we're gonna go ahead and put travel and see what we got here. Just something that looks simple and something that looks clean. Maybe something like this. I like that one, but I don't like the weird block around it like the stroke around it. So, let's see what we can find. What if we even put the exact name of our thing they were looking for Excursion? Now as you can see, I'm literally just looking for something that looks simple something clean. Nothing. That's too complicated. Just something that allows us to get a representation of what our brand actually is. Try this one on a white. This right here. That actually doesn't look terrible. So should we rotated a little bit? Keep this in the center. Make this bigger just like and move it around. It's not bad. We'll see if I can find a different icon that I like maybe a little better. I want something that is like brandable for this business. That's why I kind of like this where I was like the actual destination and now I found it here without the stroke. So let's do this one instead remove this guy. And then we can actually give a color to this. Icon here and that can be our kind of brand identity. And what we can do is maybe put it at the end. Again, I'm literally just doing this live which you just experimenting trying to figure this out myself. So no, I think it looks better in the beginning. And sometimes you know, we can get creative we can actually use the the icon maybe as like, oh as like a letter in the the word. So that's one more thing that I'm gonna try here as well. See if it makes sense. because this does kind of look like an a hopefully you can see what I'm going for and I'm not crazy but I could have just did the logo and then came to the video, but I wanted to do a live with you so you can maybe kind of see the process behind it. Let me go ahead and just lock that one in place. It's not horrible. I mean I've seen worse logos and it's simple it has a nice brand to it. The only problem that I have with this logo is not entirely clear of what this brand actually is and what they sell, you know, it's it looks decent but often first glance, it's not even that clear and it's hard for me to tell that that even looks like an a after about 10 minutes of working on this. I have done that I'm pretty happy with it's simple, it's clean. It has the brand name with a nice font and it has an icon that represents our brand and what we sell what we can do at this point is we can click here and we can turn our background to White and then we can actually try and see what it looks like on different colors so we can see it on a black. Let's go ahead and change this guy, too. You go ahead and send this to the back so I can actually edit this. So he looks like on a black. It looks pretty good on both colors and again for a logo, especially For A Drop Shipping Store, especially for testing products. We don't need anything fancy the logo that I was using for my initial hybrid store. It had the word and it had an icon of a house. So again, this is not something I want you to get hung up on for six weeks. The last thing we're gonna do before we upload this logo to our store is resize it. So we're gonna click right here. And as you can see 500 by 500 is good, but this is going to upload very weirdly on our store because of all this white space. So if we go 500 by 200, and then we resize that now We have something that fits way better for a logo one thing. I like about canvas that when you scale upwards. It doesn't distort the quality, which is really nice. So we're gonna scale up. We're gonna fill this out make sure everything is nice and centered. and We can even resize it. Once again, we can say 500 by 100 and now we have even more of a proper logo fitting size there. So just plug this in we want to try to fill it up as much as possible. So that way it fills into our website pretty much perfectly. Okay, so I would say it looks pretty good. We have our logo design now and we could just literally Click Share we can go ahead and click download and we want to hit transparent background. So that way it saves as a PNG and it can upload clean to our store and then we're gonna go ahead and click download and that's pretty much how you gonna create your logo for your store again. It doesn't have to look exactly like this. I don't want to see a bunch of logos that have this same exact icon and the same exact font. It's the principle and the principle is that it has a nice font. Not a crazy fun. Don't be out here using like I don't want you using like these type of fonts for your website or these type of craziness, like simple clean fonts, like bold Sans serif fun. If you don't know what Santa means go ahead and look that up it basically is this style of font. That's what we want. And then we want to have a nice icon. And if the name is good enough we can even get away without even having an icon like some other examples like we saw like these guys their name is really nice. They don't even have an icon and they're making hundreds of thousands a month another example that has a really nice logo is this one and they don't even have an icon. So again, we don't always need icon. It's just about having a clean branded store and having a logo that represents that as good as possible. So that's pretty much it for the logo design. Once you download it. You're pretty much ready to upload it to your store and now we're gonna start building this thing. So let's get into it.
