In this module, I'm gonna teach you how to build a million dollar store. I'm gonna break down first the checklist that you need to follow in this first video, and then I'm gonna go in and show you a live example piece by piece of a store that I built for this training.
First, let's talk about the checklist. The criteria that you need to have in building a winning store is these things. First, we need a clean, professional, and simple brand name and logo. We don't want no super ugly and complicated name. We want something that's easy to remember, simple and clean. And I'll show you some examples and also show you how to come up with that later on.
Next we need to focus on one broad industry. I don't want you guys out here running general stores, selling any and every product. We wanna make sure to focus on one industry, whether that is products for women, products for outdoors, products for health, products for fitness, we need to focus on one main industry.
And if you've been following along the training, you've already begun to do some product research and found winning products that you want to sell. So pick the one that you like the best. Pick the industry that you feel like has most potential.
Next we need to have a modern homepage. This is not going to be seen by everybody, but if people do browse around your website, you wanna make sure that it feels good, feels trustworthy, and actually has a good quality feel to the whole entire thing.
Now, really the most important thing above all this truly the reason why I put a star next to this, this matters more than anything, it is an optimized product page. This is the page that people see when you run ads and they click on the ad and they go to your website. They don't go to the homepage, they're gonna go to the product page itself. And this is where we're gonna spend the majority of our energy in the long run.
And lastly, we need the essential pages. So let's just break down each of these elements one by one real quick so you can get an understanding of what that means.
For a clean brand name and logo, I've provided some examples here like Kylie Cosmetics, fashion Nova, gym Shark. These are multi-billion dollar brands. And you can see that their logos are very simple and modern and elegant. They're not these super complicated logos with all these crazy colors. They're usually having just bold fonts. And I put some examples here for you guys if you wanna look up into these fonts. They're easy to remember and they're, they're not crazy.
A logo is not supposed to be something crazy. It's supposed to be something simple, clean. And in this day and age, this modern style is what a lot of the biggest brands are using. So when you're designing your logo, lean more towards this as opposed to trying to do some insanely crazy looking logo. And if you're struggling to come up with a name for your brand, you could easily use chat GPT. This is a tool that helps me in so many things in my workflow.
And for you guys that are coming up with a brand name, you could easily go to chat GPT and say, I wanna build a e-commerce business focused on products for women with the.com domain available. And it's gonna go and scan the internet and look for different names for your brand. You can also use another Tool that I like and have used a lot in the past called name licks and name licks.
Basically you can put different keywords. Um, so we could say women's clothing store, and then we can go ahead and click on Generate. You can change the style. So we'll put Brandable names. And then if we go ahead and click generate and like 30 seconds, it's going to print out a bunch of AI generated names and you can even select to see which ones have the domain available. So you can see right here, this is a great way to come with names. If you're struggling creatively, find something simple, find something clean. And in terms of building a logo, I'll show you that in the next video. We're gonna use a free tool called Canva to knock it out super easily.
The next thing, like I said, you guys need to focus on one niche. So these are my four favorite niches for dropshipping. Without a doubt you got health and wellness. This is the thing that if you think about the medical industry, people are spending almost a trillion dollars a year worldwide just on their health. So if we find products that make their health better or solve health insecurities that they have, like their weight, then this is something that people are gonna buy all day long.
My second favorite niche is beauty and cosmetics. It's the same idea. The thing that people are usually most insecure about is how they look, whether they have acne or different type of insecurities. Beauty is a massive industry. And in China, there's so many products being created every single day. And this is a space that you know, especially if you're a woman, you can really thrive in. The men and the, you know, young guys that try to get into this space often struggle because they don't understand the mind of a consumer in that space.
So they don't know how to speak to them, and they also don't know what they really want. So, you know, if you're a guy and you're going into the beauty space, make sure that you're always kind of consulting with, you know, your sister or your girlfriend or one of your friends and get a woman's perspective on it. 'cause if we're gonna sell products to women, we need to understand what women really want. And it's also very important to kind of immerse yourself in that world. So if you're selling beauty, start watching beauty vloggers, start watching beauty tiktoks. You know, it's, that goes Fran niche. So the other space I like a lot, especially on TikTok, is women's clothing. Clothing is something that people spend money on like this. They don't even think about it. If it looks cool, they buy it. If it looks nice, they buy it.
And the products that I've seen absolutely blow off the top is products that blend two of these elements together. That's the trick if you can find a product that's in the women's clothing space, but it also makes them look more slim or increases the size of their features, well now you've got yourself a great product. It's something that looks nice and it's something that fixes an insecurity. It's a home run type of product. And the last thing I like is pets and kids. You know, people will spend thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars on their pets.
And also if you can strike insecurities about the health of their kids or their dog, you can make millions. One of my mentors in the e-commerce space actually sells pills for dogs that prevents arthritis. It's not pills, it's like a chewable tablet that they have. But his whole marketing angle is like, look, this percentage of dogs get arthritis. And owners don't even know it and it's because they're not supplementing and feeding their dogs properly.
That's a strong angle. And there's a lot of products like this. You can think flea collars, You can think harnesses that are yanking the dog. You can go on forever. And it goes for kids too. Parents are super nervous about their kids' health and their development and they will spend a lot to help those things. So honestly, you can venture out of these industries if you want, but these are the core four.
And if you really get creative, you can combine them together so you know the health of pets or women's clothing for um, you know, wellness. Like it makes you look better. You can kind of get where I'm going with this whole thing.
The next thing is we need a modern homepage. In the next video, I'm gonna go in and show you guys an example, one that I created, but a modern homepage is simply clean, basic, not distracting, high quality images, a good color scheme, nothing too crazy, just straight to the point.
The next thing we need is a great product page. And like I told y'all, the product page is really the most important thing. When we run ads and we send our customers to our store, this is where they're gonna end up, is on a product page. They're not gonna end up on our homepage. So we need to spend the majority of our efforts when we launch products on making a solid product page.
And the key elements of a good product page are high quality images, a strong offer, good selling points and benefits of using the product, making sure that we have reviews and a simple clean description that sells the product. Without being too long. I put this one on screen as a good example. You can see we have a nice clean image. We basically have some scarcity saying that the stock is limited. We have a good title, we have reviews, we have a good offer.
You can see that this is a clean straight to the point product page that sells the benefits of the product. And the last thing we need is really simple, it's just the essential pages is it's boring, but it's necessary. We need to have frequently asked questions, track your order, contact us policies, etc.
I'm gonna show you guys how to set up all that really easily in the next video. But now let's hop in and let's look at a live example of a store that I created for this video and we can kind of break down these elements live on that example.
