The most important factor to your success is selecting the right product. In this module, I'm gonna teach you how to find your first winning product. This is the part that most people struggle with the most, but by the end of the next couple of videos, you're gonna have a full understanding of it because it's not that hard to actually find a winning product. The challenge is not the product. The challenge is your skillset because products are not the thing that gets results. Skills are. The truth is, you and me could launch the same exact product and I'm gonna get 10 times the results of that product because I'm a better marketer than you. I have a better understanding of customer psychology. I know how to make a better website and product page. I know how to make a better video ad I know how to make a better offer. So as a result, we can both compete on the same product and I could win and you could lose. Winning products are out there everywhere. You're seeing them all day every day on your feed in the stores on Amazon. The challenge is not finding a product. The challenge is developing the skillset to be able to capitalize on those opportunity. And I really need you to hammer that into your brain because most people obsess over finding some magical winning product, but that's not gonna be the thing that makes the difference.
As you go on this journey of building your store and launching new products, you're going to be improving at each of these skills. And over time you're going to reach that level where you can spot an opportunity and capitalize on it just like I've done time and time again. So that's the first thing I need you to understand. Before we talk about the criteria of a winning product and show you some live examples, I need you to understand that the products is not the thing that's gonna take you to that next, next, next level. We can both have the same product, but the person with the best skillset is gonna win. This game is a competition. You need to know that. Now let's talk about the four essential elements of a winning product. Even though I said all that, it's still products that have a better chance of succeeding than others. And when we're looking for a product, we need to find one that checks on every single one of these boxes, not just one of them. It has to check all of them. So the first one is that the product is recently going viral. We don't want to be the first person to sell a product because then we have no example of if it works or not. And we have nobody to study and replicate when we go and launch our store on our own. As a beginner, you have no idea what to do in terms of marketing, in terms of product page design, in terms of copywriting. So if you have a competitor that is out here scaling this product right now, you can go look at them and study them and see what's working for them. That's gonna be the fastest way for you to make huge leaps in your understanding of marketing, is by looking at somebody that's already successful and literally just replicating them while trying to add your own touch just a little bit. So we're really gonna be looking for products that have been popping off in the last month or two. The earlier you are, the better. You don't want to be the first to sell a product, but you want to identify trends right when they begin to pop off. And I'm gonna teach you a couple different ways to do that inside of this program. And of course inside of the viral vault, we're uploading new trending products every single day. But I'm also gonna leak the method that my product researchers use. So you guys can go out there and find other products on your own. If you're able to identify new trends early, this is going to increase your chances of success. If you go out there and you try to launch a product that was two years old that everybody has already tested, your chances of success are dramatically lower than if you find something that's just on the come up. And I got a couple examples I'm gonna show to you in a second.
The second thing is that your product must solve a real problem. The bigger the problem, the easier it is to sell because there's more pain and more incentive for the customer to go out and buy that thing. I want you guys to find products that fix deep insecurities like beauty and health related issues. You know, people with a big stomach, with acne, with wrinkles, with hair loss, people that struggle with sleep, people that struggle with focus. Big problems that bother people on a daily basis are the catalyst to the products that go on a scale to make millions of dollars. And also these are the easiest products to sell because you understand the marketing angle. Clearly, if we're selling some decor for your house, I have to come with some creative and unique angle to promote that. But if I'm selling something that removes acne, it's clear what I'm promoting. If you have acne, this thing will help you out. And then we just have to get a little bit creative about how we design that angle, and that's why these are the easiest types of products to sell.
The next thing we need to make sure is that our product has at least a $15 profit margin. And honestly, the more the merrier because we're gonna be running ads to promote these products and it costs money to get customers. So if we have a bigger margin to play with to get a customer, we can spend more aggressively and win in the ads auction. So I recommend you find stuff with at least $15 margin, ideally even more. But later on in the website design section, I'm gonna show you how to get creative and increase your profit margin with things like bundling upsells and a couple hats that I've used throughout my career. And the last thing, this is the thing that the top dogs are all doing, but the beginners are completely neglecting, is finding room for improvement. So when we find a product that hits on all three of these criteria, that's great, but we want to make sure that we're not competing with a multimillion dollar mega brand. We want to try to find products that hit on this criteria that are being ran on a crappy drop shipping store with room for us to improve upon. Those my friends are the biggest opportunities of all time because then if your skillset is just a little bit better than that competitor and you get on the trend early enough, suddenly you now have a product that's making you thousands of dollars per day. It's not easy, but it is that simple. It's simply a matter of finding a product that's hitting all this criteria and having some room for improvement and getting your skillset to the level that you can improve upon it. That is the sauce, that is how it's done. And by the end of this course, you're gonna have an understanding of how to do that. But if you're anything like me, you're a visual learner and you need to see examples. So I put together two examples for you of products that are looking really good right now as of the time I'm filming this video that hit all these criteria.
The first one is this, natural hair growth oil for black women. Now we're gonna go through each of the criteria, but first I wanna show you this ad so you can kind of get an idea of what the product is all about. I Grow black hair fast. Ever since I decided to go natural growing my hair had always seemed to test my patience. It's not fair that we struggled to grow longer hair. Our hair is our statement when we walk into a room, but I just couldn't make it. I had tried a few things that I read online but with no visible results. Then one day my stylist recommended to try the natural hair growth oil. It contained a mixture of 11 natural ingredients that were actually backed by studies for their hair growing potency. The company behind this oil actually had 8,000 plus success stories. So I gave it a go. After one month, my hair grew significantly. Within three months, my hair had grown by five inches. Fast forward to today, my hair is natural, radiant, and longer than ever You get the point. It's a natural oil that helps women grow their hair. Now again, this goes back to what I was telling you guys. A product is not the thing that's really scaling here. It's the marketing angle. These guys went ahead and they targeted this specifically towards black women who have sometimes a harder time growing here than their counterpart. And it's a very harsh pain point for a lot of black women. So it's something that they've been trying to solve in their life for years. And these guys presented a great solution for it. And as a result, they've been doing well. They're running a bunch of ads right now. It just started running this a couple months ago, maybe like two months ago, a month and a half, and they're killing it. But if we look at this a little bit further, it looks good, but there's areas for us to improve on this. You can see that their website's a little basic. It's not super clean. We could definitely make it a lot better. I can't even read their, their brand and their brand name. It's good. But with my level of skills, I know that I can compete and I can get into this game. And also the market share is so big here. You're targeting all the black women in the world that have this problem. And that's a massive market. So even let's say these guys, they put a fake number here that they got 8,500 customers. Okay, that's amazing. That's a lot of money. But guess what? There's billion of people in this market that we can target here. So long as our skill set is at that level that we can compete. That's the big lesson for the data that I need you guys to take away, is that I can show you products all day long, but I'm gonna be able to succeed with them whilst you guys who are just getting started out are gonna have a hard time until your skills get to that level. I'm gonna give you the templates, I'm gonna give you the sauce, I'm gonna give you everything you need. But it takes practice. It takes time to become a good marketer and these guys are doing a great job. And this is example a of a good product I would want to potentially run at this point in time.
The second example is in the same type of industry, it's health and beauty, but I think this one's a little bit more of beginner friendly. And I'll explain why the other brand was scaling really hard. They have over 500 ads running. The ads are pretty good, so it would be kind of hard to compete with them. And their website was nice. So if you're a super beginner, you might get some sales on that product for sure, but it's gonna be really difficult to actually compete with them and get some hard market share. Now these guys are selling this, um, turmeric soap that helps with I think hyperpigmentation. This is a new trend that's been popping off on TikTok again for black women. And this is something that is a super pain point I'll show you right now. So you can see this girl, she kind of has acne. She has the the pigmentation issue. And then she shows her before and after of using this turmeric soap. And you'll see at the end she shows her results. And this product has only been launched very recently. They're not running a ton of ads, they only have 30 ads. They just started running this and the 20th of February. And at the time of filming this video, it's the 22nd. And this tool that I'm using is called um, PP Ads. You don't need to use it, but you can. It's super helpful and I'll show you that in the next video where we go find products live. But this is a great example. This product is just starting to trend. It's a unique solution to a huge, huge problem for women. It's a big insecurity. The profit margin for me is the only side that is kind of weak because as you can see, they're selling this for 15 bucks. But if you get creative, and this is what I was talking to you guys about before, you can do stuff like buy two or buy three, and suddenly that $15 order becomes a $25 order or a $37 order. And now you've gotten that profit margin where you want it. And as we can see, this is the big thing and this is what I love the most about this and why I said it's beginner friendly. There's room for improvement here. This is a garbage website with all due respect to whoever this person is. This website does not look good at all. It looks very basic. It looks very dropship. If we made a nice looking, trustworthy branded store, like I'm gonna show you guys in the later modules. This is a home run. And we could take this product to hundreds of thousands of dollars a month because the market is so big, there's so many black women that have this issue. We could scale this as hard as we want. We could potentially build a real brand from this and sell it just like I did. So I love this product. This is a great example of a winning product that I would consider selling myself.
Now I'm gonna tell you what not to sell because I get on these weekly calls every week and y'all bring me some of the craziest products ever. And I I, I'm tired of it. So do not sell stuff like this and do not bring me stuff like this on the calls. Do not sell these useless home decorations and gadgets. Okay? Yes, they go viral. Yes, you're gonna see videos of them popping up. Yes, there are people that make money with them. I don't play that game. We don't play that game 'cause it's so much harder to promote something like this. And it's mainly targeted at kids or teenagers as opposed to solving real problems. If I was a woman, I would much rather want to fix my acne then get some galaxy stars on my ceiling at night. The acne thing, I would spend 10 times more money, I'll buy it quicker. It would be less of a decision than for me to buy this stupid little astronaut. Do these products make money? Yes. Do I like to sell them? No. And I don't recommend you guys either. Another thing this is, this is very important. We wanna avoid scammy snake oil products. So make sure what you're selling actually works. I see a lot of people like have come to me with this product. For example, this acupuncture pen where you just touch it to your skin and it instantly relieves your pain. It's b******t, it doesn't work. And you know in your heart that it doesn't work if you don't or if you're not sure if the product is good or not. It's very simple. All we gotta do is go to Amazon. Now we gotta look for the product that we want to sell. So we're trying to sell turmeric soap for hyperpigmentation. We wanna look that up. And what we wanna look for is, okay, this is the one that we were selling or looking to sell. We look at the reviews. What are people actually saying? It really works. It works. She said it did nothing for her acne. But you know, that's fine. You're not gonna get a hundred percent five star ratings on any product, but we wanna make sure the majority of the ratings are good. That's the most important thing. Same with the other one. What was it like vegan hair oil for black woman? Um, this one right here. So again, we're seeing that it's not a hundred percent positive reviews, but overall it's, it's pretty good. We wanna make sure that it's pretty good or outstanding. The more the merrier, if it's actually five stars, that's great because your business is gonna have more longevity and your customers are gonna be happier. They're gonna tell their friends, they're gonna come back, et cetera. So make sure your products actually work by validating the reviews on Amazon. Super important. And a lot of people don't do this and they end up dealing with it down the line when all their customers are upset. The last thing I want to tell you, and again, this is something that so many beginners neglect, it's the common sense test. It's very simple. Would you or somebody you love actually use this product? Would you buy this yourself? Would you give it as a gift to somebody that you love? If the answer is no, or it's like almost comical to think that you would use the product, 'cause it's some dumb dropshipping product, don't sell it. It's real people on the other side of the screen that you're selling to. You're selling it to real people. So therefore you can't get by on them. You can't try to pull one over on them. They're smarter than you think. So we wanna make sure our products is actually good and it's stuff that we would actually use ourself. I always tell the story about the sleep band of how I used it myself before I ever even sold the product. And that made it a lot easier for me to sell the product to people. So with that being said, I just wanna let you guys know that you are one product away from changing your life forever. In 2020, when I went back to being broke, went back to being in debt, I started testing products again. And after testing around five products, I found the sleep band, which is what allowed me to get outta my mom's house, get back into financial freedom and start this life that I'm living nowadays. And eventually I sold that business for a crazy amount. So it's like you think that you need something really insane, but all that you really need to do is stick with the path, you know? And you're gonna go through the dips. You're gonna have products that fail for short. I can promise you the first five to 10 products that you launch are not gonna be your million dollar product. And I know it sucks, but that's what it takes to develop the skillset to eventually find that product. And the sooner you accept that, the better. And then eventually you can be like this happy, smiley, face stick figure, go. Anyways, in the next video I'm gonna show you guys exactly how I found these products that I just showed you right here. So you can go out and find products for your own that aren't on viral vault. This is the same method that my product researchers used. So you know, it works.
