In this video, I'm gonna break down the story of exactly how I built my company sleep band. I was able to sell it in just under two years. This video is actually going to focus on the initial phase because that's the entire focus of this course. By the end of this whole entire course, you're going to learn exactly how to test products and find your first winning product. This is how I did it for Sleep Band, as you guys can see. Here are some numbers from the business. We did around one 9 million before I sold the company. But I don't have access to the dashboard anymore because it's not my business. And also here's a picture of the product, if you don't already know. Basically, I created this headband that helps people sleep better. This headband right here has some headphones built in so you can listen to white noise, podcast, whatever you want. This product changed my life. Not only was I able to sell the company, but we sold a ton of these things. And I learned so much in the process of building this business. So I'm going to be able to share that with you guys in this program. I also obviously have some proof here that we sold the business. This right here is the Escrow.com closing statement and, of course, the DocuSign agreement. But you guys don't really care about that. I just want to show you guys that as some motivation, so you know, you're about to learn something that really works. Now, the first thing I want to discuss with you guys is that Drop Shipping is just for testing products. With the sleep ban at the level that we reached, we were not drop shipping the product. We were ordering inventory. We have the product custom branded. We had our own packaging, we had our own content. Everything. It was a fullfledged brand. That's why I was able to sell it. But it didn't start like that. The way that it started was using drop shipping to test products. And by the end of this course, I want you to have such a strong grasp on that that you can go out there and test and find your sleep band. You can find your winning product. So let's talk about drop shipping and let's talk about that testing phase. So you guys know what to do? Now, this is basically the five steps that I went through to actually succeed with Sleep band. I'm going to go through each of them one by one. But here's a quick run through of all of them. OK, so the first step and phase one in this entire process that you guys are going to be following is actually building what's called a hybrid store. This is a blend between a general and a niche store. The reason why we want to build a store like this is because it has a nice branded feel. It's Very Premium it's very trustworthy, but it also allows us to test a variety of products. Testing is the name of the game when you guys are first getting started, because you're not going to succeed on your first product. I'm sorry to tell you that I don't know if that was your goal or if that was your dream. You might get some sales on your first product, but it is extremely unlikely that your first offer that you run ads to is going to make you a million dollars. So you need to build a store that allows you to test multiple products. And I believe, in my opinion, a hybrid store is one of the best ways to do that. So this is actually a screenshot of the hybrid store that I built to test products. And the same store that I found the Sleep Band on, it was called Nouveau. Basically, the store was basically like home goods, products for your house. And this Sleep Band products, you might be thinking, well, it doesn't necessarily fit in that category, but since I did something so broad like the home niche, we could test a variety of products. So I tested all different types of products. I tested, like, this paper that you put over your cabinets to change the look of them. I tested this film that you put on your window to make rainbows appear in your living room. I tested these covers that you put over your couches. I tried all different types of products. I think around four products I tested until I actually found the Sleep Band. And you guys can see right here, this is a screenshot of the first ad that I ever ran of the Sleep Band. So the way that I actually found the sleep ban was scrolling on my Facebook feed. And honestly, all the products that I've made a lot of money on, I've simply spotted them on the social media platforms themselves. I didn't use some crazy expensive paid product research tool or anything like that. I literally just spent time on social media and found the products there. And as you can see, I even had taken the ad that was already out there. I added it up, I customized it a little bit myself, and I launched that ad to go forward and test this product. And almost immediately, I was seeing more success than I was on any of the other products. And this gave me a lot of confidence that I could take this thing to the next level. So I continued working on this product. And after that, what I did was instead of making sure my account didn't get banned or anything like that, our product was making around like 200, $300 a day. I immediately went to Amazon and I ordered the product myself. I took my iPhone right here and I just filmed footage and recreated this exact ad. I didn't come up with some brand new idea or make some genius level scoresy type film. I literally just took this ad that we used for testing and I recreated it with my sister. And listen, this changed the game for me. This is what allowed me to actually see some success with this product. Once I finally started to see some results with the product, once we did the ad, I knew that this product could be something special, so I decided to double down on it and go all in. Now, I don't want to get too far ahead of myself, but that initial testing phase is what you guys are going to be learning in this entire program, this video. I just want to discuss the big picture, the overview, so you guys can understand an idea of where you should be going and where you should get to with this business. The rest of the course is going to discuss the testing phase extremely in depth, so don't be worried if you're kind of confused on how I got to that point. Just understand that I launched the hybrid store. I tested a couple of different products with Facebook ads. And on my fifth product test, I actually found the sleep band. I started getting some sales with it, and instead of just going ahead and scaling that right away, I instantly focused on actually improving what I had. So, like I said, I filmed my own ad. I rebranded my website, basically just changed the logo of the website and took some better images as well of the product. And these changes alone finally allowed me to scale the product. So, as you guys can see, around this time, right here, in the end of July, the product was doing a couple of day. Once I made these changes, I tried to scale the product just to see if these changes actually worked, and they did. I was almost able to get this product to $4,000 a day within the first month of launching it. And a big reason for that was I tested, I found it, I improved it, and then I simply just increased the budget on my ads. And this is exactly what happened. Now, you'll see, after that happened, I ramped down the ads, and there's a reason for that, and we're going to talk about that right now. Of course, I could have just kept running $4,000 a day, $5,000 a day, $10,000 a day. But if I did that, my business would have exploded in my face. And that's not what I want for you guys. The next thing that I did, and something that I cover in extreme detail in the Reveal program, is actually went all in and turned this into a real brand. So I started working with a fulfillment agent. This is basically somebody out there in China that helps you find the best quality version of your product, gets you a better price, and gives you a better shipping options. I hired a customer service team to make sure that there were no issues with our customers and make sure that they were all happy. And then I started to focus really heavily on improving the product quality. And as a result, you can see right here, we were able to do these type of numbers with this business. I built a full fledged custom brand in the process, and I learned so much along the way. So ultimately, I shared this story. Just so you understand that this should be the goal for you. The goal is not for you to test find a product that's making $500 a day and then just make passive income. The goal for you should be able to test, find your winning product and then begin the process of actually building a brand, because that is how you scale, that is how you make a lot of money, and that is how you build an asset that you can go on to sell in the future. So that's what I was able to do with this company, Sleep Band. I wanted to share this story so you guys can get a big picture overview of where you can expect to go if you do things the right way.
