What's up you guys? Welcome to TikTok Ads 101. I'm super excited to share with you guys everything I know about starting and scaling with TikTok Ads, the full A to Z. And with that being said, let's jump right in. I also just want to make it super known, guys. Feel free to send me a DM with any questions. I try to get through my DMs as quickly as possible. And with that being said, let's jump right in. It in. First, let's start off with TikTok product Research. And this is something that I talk about with really any product research on any platform. But using indicators. This is the number one thing that I want to talk about regarding product research because it's what matters the most. Laying out pros and cons based on a product and really giving yourself a good one pager on if that product is going to be good or bad. Using indicators like views being high. Using Indicators like the person consistently posting on social media. If you have an ad spying platform, seeing the ads are continuously being ran after day, impressions are going up. These are indicators or products is going to do well. And then the flip side, you have indicators, it's going to do bad stuff like maybe the person and the competitor you found, they stopped posting. On the flip side, maybe you are seeing that the product was selling really well, they were running heavy, heavy ads. And then again, on an ads buying platform, you could see if the ad slowed down and stopped spending as much, the impressions went down. And then you could see, Dan, they were running ads a month ago and then they stopped and they haven't ran out since. And that's an indicator that the store is not going to do good. It's not a good product. So now that we understand indicators and how to apply them, really with every product that you find, you want to write down the pros and cons with Indicators. And the first way to find products to start deep diving and getting indicators to is the paid method with paid ads buying platforms and how to best leverage them and get their features. And I'm going to give you guys an example of this. So as you can see here I am on PP Ads. This is a popular ads buying platform and one of the best paid ads buying platforms that I personally use, although most of them do the same thing. My favorite filtering set up for when I'm trying to find products is making sure that first scene is within the last two weeks, two, three weeks, give or take. And then the ad impressions are over 50,000. callToAction shop now econ platform shopify and then country region I put on US. And I'm going to explain why I do these filters. So what this is doing is showing us ads that are recently published, showing us ads that are already with 50,000 impressions, meaning some budget was pumped into them. It's showing us ads that have a shop now and shopify. So these two together pretty much guarantee every one of these sites are a shopify product. And then the last thing is the country being the United States, it's just going to show us relevant ads with all these filters, for the most part, we're going to see a good amount of Drop shipping products. I would say right around 25% to 50% of ads. We're seeing the dock card. This is obviously more branded, not a Drop shipping product, but we're seeing shopify stores. And this is pretty much the best filtering you could possibly get on at least a broadish search, right? You're going to get a good amount of search results from this. And that's really how I recommend to use paid ads buying platforms. And you can kind of scroll through and look for products to find indicators for. Already on that first page, I found one. Even on the second page, I know a ton of people trying to sell this. Obviously, this is a terrible ad and we'll talk about that in the next part of this section. But just another example, an ad in a product that definitely could be doing well, united Arab Emirates. I'm not going to take this one too much into account, but an indicator here, half million impressions. Okay, someone is running some decent budget there. And yeah, pretty much great way using paid ad platforms to find products. Look at this one for example. This one's crushing 2.4 million impressions. It's only been up for two days. Likely spark ad. Interesting, these guys are using the audience preference. iOS, I believe, just to people who have Apple devices. But nonetheless, some indicators of this product is doing well. Super new, cool, add decent likes and stuff. So again, using indicators and paid ads on platforms are going to be your easiest way to kind of navigate the whole realm of all these products that you can find on TikTok. And just before we go, another example, like a decent product I like here, I've never seen this. Not an insane amount of impressions, but I definitely think this could be a good product. Pretty new. And again, you can go and deep dive, check out the website. There's a lot of work done on the site. This might even be a custom product from the site, but definitely something Drop triple. I think you can find this on AliExpress. So take it into account. This site is so built out. They're running this product, they're running ads for this product. It likely is selling profitably for them. And that's an indicator that the product is going to work. Now, the second part of product research is using TikTok organic to find ads. This is pretty basic. You're going to literally use your Tik tok on your phone and search through stuff like TikTok may buy it. Search through stuff like Best ticktocks Buys, stuff like that. You're going to want to definitely put your own unique twist and think outside of the box. A common analogy I love using is if you want to get results the 99% don't and be in the top 1%, you have to do what 99% don't do. So think outside of the box. Try to be unique because a lot of people are using this organic route because it's free. Free stuff always comes at the cost of anyone can do it. So with organic TikTok, just really try to put your own spin on it, but pretty much just on TikTok. After scrolling, you can like and comment on ads. Then you're going to see more ads. Whenever you see an ad for a product, you can go to the website, even click around, add to cart, et cetera. TikTok will then likely show you more ads, but nothing nothing too crazy to talk organic. And if you have the budget, I highly recommend investing into a paid ads buying platform right now. One point out is over. I'll see you guys in two point out.
